Security Intelligence Analyst

About You And The Role 

As a Security Intelligence Analyst at OWA, you will work on teams that bring analysis and operations together to maximize the impact of OWA. You will use drones and satellite data, specialized tools, and network analysis techniques to identify and analyze security threats,and evaluate the risks and benefits of proposed operations. You will regularly communicate your findings to policy and operational decision-makers via written and verbal presentations. You will need to use your creativity, critical thinking, initiative, and strong communication and interpersonal skills to help solve complex intelligence problems and drive intelligence collection efforts.The role is focused on EMEA and on functional topics including security, weapons proliferation, transnational crime like IUU fishing and human trafficking.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree
• At least a 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Interest in international affairs
• Awareness of international security interests
• Foreign language capability
• Strong verbal presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise text
• Research experience in international affairs
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Interest in a career that requires regular writing assignments
